So why should you listen to me?

Well I could tell you I'm an endurance running coach. I am.

I could tell you that I've coached many older athletes like yourself to successfully navigate their training plans and get better results from their marathons and half marathons. And I have.

However, I think the most important thing is I've been where you've been.

In my early 50s I thought that my endurance running was all downhill. I was working really hard with my training and it just didn't seem to be going anywhere.

If anything I seem to be going backwards. And I just thought it was part of the steady decline that I would just have to accept as I got older.

But luckily I met a coach who showed me that I could work smarter and not always harder. And it was how I interpreted my runs on my training plan that made the difference.
